Before you press play

  1. Find a quiet, comfortable space. Use headphones if you have them.
  2. Gather three small objects, or a number that feels manageable. Stones, coins or beans can be your anchors. Use a bowl or a clear surface to set them down.
  3. Give yourself about six minutes. Follow at your own pace; pause or stop whenever you need.

You do not need to retell a traumatic event or force a feeling. Keep objects out of waterways and leave your surroundings as you found them.

Afterward, notice your surroundings and take a moment before returning to your day. You can keep one object as a reminder of what matters to you.
