How Minds Work ("we," "us," or "our") operates howmindswork.org. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
We collect information you provide directly:
We also collect limited usage data automatically:
If you purchase a product, we add your email to our list and may send follow-up content related to your purchase. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
How Minds Work uses TikTok's Content Posting API to publish content to @howmindswork. This integration does not collect, store, or process data about visitors to this site. It is used solely for content management by the account owner.
How Minds Work uses Meta's official Instagram and Facebook Graph APIs to publish posts, respond to comments, and send private replies to people who comment specific keywords on our posts. When someone comments a keyword we've configured, we read that comment and send them a private message with the resource they asked for.
For businesses who connect their own Instagram Professional account or Facebook Page to our tools, we access only what their granted permissions allow: publishing posts on their behalf, reading and replying to comments on their own content, and sending private replies to people who comment on their posts. We never ask for or receive anyone's Meta account password — access is granted and can be revoked entirely through Meta's own authorization system, not through us. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and used only for the actions described here.
Specifically, this integration processes: the text and timestamp of a comment that triggers a reply, the commenter's Instagram-scoped user ID and username (used only to send that one reply and to avoid messaging the same person twice), and the content of the private message we send. We do not access a commenter's profile information, followers, or any content beyond the single comment that matched a keyword.
We do not sell or share this data with third parties. See our Data Deletion page for how to remove data we've stored from an Instagram, Facebook, or Threads interaction.
Customer email addresses and order records are stored securely. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

This site does not use tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process as part of their fraud prevention systems.
We do use your browser's own local and session storage for a small number of things that do not identify you personally: remembering which link or platform brought you here, so we can tell which content is working; remembering that you have already been shown a particular offer, so you are not shown it twice in one visit; and remembering a free download you have claimed, so it stays available to you on that page. This data stays in your browser, is not a cookie, and is not sold or shared. You can clear it at any time through your browser's "clear browsing data" settings.
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy periodically. The "last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
